Happy helg! ♥
Those of you who have followed my blog for a while know that I love lemons. They are fun to photograph and I often use lemons in cooking and baking. In February 2010, I wrote that I dreamed of having a lemon tree and to harvest lemons. That same year, I got a tree. I was probably not very hopeful that it would survive (the cold winter) and even less, I thought that I would be able to harvest any lemons. But I decided that it was worth a try anyway. During this summer I saw small fruits on the tree and now they are ready to ripe. Sometimes "dreams" come true. I just have to decide what to do with/how to cook the lemons. Maybe I'll dry them in an oven so that I can enjoy them all winter, make lemon curd or something else. Do you have any suggestions?
Someone may notice the new copyright / watermark on my images. It is not pretty at all and even though I know all the arguments against watermarking I've decided to use one. I've for a long time been tired of seeing my pictures on the internet (blogs, tumblr etc), sometimes with a link back to the source, but usually not. But the other day I discovered that someone (probably several) not only had stolen some of my images, but also re-edited / manipulated them. Do you use a watermark on your images and what are your thoughts about it?
Tomorrow we will publish the first picture in the photo challenge. Leave a comment on my blog so that I can link to all the participants in tomorrow's post. Happy weekend! ♥
